Nature's Pollinators

Project Info +
Project: Snapchat X RCA Program
Team Members: Aarti Bhalekar, Ayushi Saxena , Ruby Bell & Riya Mahajan

Nature’s Pollinators is an augmented reality card game, designed to educate children about the essential role of pollination in our ecosystem. Discover different pollinators and match them to their favourite flowers, brought to life through the interaction between the physical and the digital.

Snap Exhibition

We presented our work at the Rauding Building in Battersea as part of the Snap X RCA Program Symposium.

Bees,Butterflies and moths are some of the most common pollinating insects.

As they fly from flower to flower, drinking nectar, pollen clings to their body.
The pollen then transfers to other flowers and helps the plant to grow new seeds in a process called 'pollination".

One can tap the different pollinators to find out more about their favourite flowers!

Saatchi Gallery

We had the exciting opportunity to showcase our AR project with other AR Artists at the Saatchi Gallery during the British Art Fair from September 26th to 29th. We developed an extension of Nature's Pollinator for this exhibition, titled HIVE.

HIVE is an immersive AR experience that invites the audience into the fascinating world of bees, highlighting pollinators' essential role in our ecosystem. Through this artwork, viewers can witness the intricate process of bees at work, fostering a deeper appreciation for their vital contributions to nature. The experience brings you closer to these remarkable creatures.

We created the project using Cinema 4D and Unreal Engine and it was published on the AR platform Meadow.
